Second Manchester team begins work on the streets - Thursday, December 01, 2005 New Manchester Street Pastors Coordinator Tony Winter has been recruiting volunteers for a new Street Pastor team for the Longsight area of Manchester. This team is being set up in partnership with local churches and in response to a request from the local Police. Street Pastors launch in Manchester - Wednesday, April 28, 2004 The Street Pastors project that Carisma has been helping set up on behalf of local churches was launched at a meeting of 'Manchester Prayer Network'. Guests included Rev Les Isaac, founder of Street Pastors in London, and Chief Supt Neil Wain of Greater Manchester Police.
