Portsmouth Street Pastors are now established on Friday and Saturday nights, patrolling in the Guildhall area of the city centre. We actively encourage others to join us as Prayer and Home Prayer Pastors. We are now 65 strong with representatives from 30 churches across Portsmouth and the surrounding area. Recruitment events occur every November to start the 12 session training programme the following January.
Five Churches are on the Steering Group together with a Police representative and good relationships are developing with the Police and Council through the Safer Portsmouth Partnership.
