The Medway group is still in the process of being set up. The initiative here is volunteer led - we have 19 volunteers willing to be trained following an exploratory meeting. The local Police Inspector with responsibility for our High street area has now agreed to support us, after discussing Street Pastors with officers from areas where they already operate. We are still trying to open discussions with the local council.
