The Perth group of Street Pastors began training in September 2007 and have been working on the streets of Perth since February 2008. We have felt empowered at what we do, and our outings on Saturday nights between 10pm and 3am are looked forward to with anticipation. In September 2008 the second training course started and we welcomed a further 10 volunteers to join our initial team of 16.
A third commissioning of another 9 volunteers takes place on May 9, 2009, bringing the total number of volunteers to 29.
