After beginning training in August 2007, Inverness Street Pastors was launched on January 17, 2008 and work began on the streets on the 25th. A team of 22 volunteers go out in teams of 4 every Friday and one Saturday a month offering support and care to people in the city centre between 10pm and 3am.
