Portsmouth Street pastors celebrated 2 years of patrolling the streets in the City Centre on Friday and Saturday nights on July 5th 2009. The thanks giving service and worship was followed by powerful prayer for continued growth of the ministry though some Street Pastors are moving on to other ministries.

We will be recruiting our 4th intake of Street Pastors in the Autumn so if you are interested in joining the team or hosting a presentation please contact Elly Mulvany.
 

The commissioning event, at Oasis Church, is such a moving celebration of all the hard work the new teams have been through with training each weekend in preparation for joining the existing teams. We have already invited all prayer and home prayer pastors, funders and Police, Paramedics and other partners/supporters to share in the occasion.
It is with thanks and praise that we acknowledge the blessings of this mission growing on such a scale. 26 new Street pastors have just completed training joining the existing teams from April where there will then be 65 Street Pastors in Portsmouth!
