Wandsworth Street Pastors was launched in May 2008 with a team starting night-time patrols in Balham.

Since then, the team has quickly expanded and has two daytime teams, patrolling from 2pm - 5.30pm in Central Wandsworth, and a further night-time team in Tooting.

In the near future, we are planning a team for the Clapham Junction / Battersea area.  Our vision is to have Street Pastor teams in all the main areas of the Borough of Wandsworth.

Already the teams have made a positive impact on businesses, schools and individuals, as well as establishing good relationships with police officers and council members.

We are always looking for more volunteers!  If you have an afternoon during the week or a weekend night to devote to the cause, sign up (a training course is beginning in September 2010) and join the Wandsworth Street Pastors.
