Sutton Street Pastors started in December 2005. As part of Mark's involvement
as faith and belief representative on the Sutton Partnership there was a
challenge with the need to make Sutton a safer place through reducing fear
of crime. Following meetings with the Police, with local church leaders and
Les Isaac it was decided there was enough energy and motivation for the church to
respond using the already formed model of Street Pastors.
