Merton Street Pastors began in March 2006. We have a really great team of 22 active Street Pastors, currently drawn from 12 different churches in and around the area. The team work well together and are keen to make a positive difference in our communities by being salt, light and good news. Relationships with the police, council, and other groups are positive and strong, and the team have developed much goodwill, significance, influence and favour.
 
We hope to develop a further presence in the Wimbledon area in early 2009, and are encouraged at the enquiries and interest from other churches to get involved.
