Essex Street Pastors patrolled the streets of Southend for the first time on Saturday May 28, 2005.

In Southend Street Pastors comes under the banner of LOVE SOUTHEND – the inter-church, Borough-wide initiative that pulls together different projects in an attempt to show the love that God has for every person.
