I know many places were praying during our week of prayer in October and after all that happened I am looking forward to the National Year of Prayer 2012.
This starts on 1st January 2012 and we are wanting to cover our nation in prayer 24/7/365 during 2012.
To do this we need Street Pastor groups, individual churches and ministries, churches together in towns etc to contact me and sign up for 24 hour periods or 2 days or a weekend or week of 24/7 prayer. Check the prayer rota here.
This can be done in your own way as God leads you and may involve a prayer room or people praying from home or other ways.

| | Dear Coordinators,
As you are all aware, we have designated 2012 to be a National Year of Prayer; praying for our communities, the church, the police, the government and praying for all our Street Pastors, School Pastors, College Pastors, Prayer Pastors and Word 4 Weapons.
I would like to encourage you all to be involved in some way to ensure that we are praying for the peace of our nation and particularly for hope in our young people. I hope that both Street Pastors and their Management Committees play an active part in this National Year of Prayer. The Board of Ascension Trust have committed themselves by taking a specific day a month for the entire year to pray.
I particularly want to encourage you to pray the Lord’s Prayer everyday at 12 noon throughout the National Year of Prayer. Please do be in contact with our National Prayer Coordinator Mrs Wendy Thomas, as I know there are some days in January that still need prayer cover. Please see the attached documents from Wendy.
