Gosport Street Pastors was launched on December 6, 2008. The Street Pastors are volunteers from
the local churches in the borough who go out on the streets to care,
listen and help those out on the streets.
There are currently 8 groups with a total of 34 members, bringing
together 10 local churches. The groups cover Friday and Saturday nights,
from 10pm to 3am. We cover the areas of White Lion Walk, Stoke Road,
and the High Street. There are three nightclubs on the High Street;
Emma’s, Moodeaze, the Waterfront and several pubs.
We also have a dedicated team of Prayer Pastors at the Church, praying
for the evening, providing us with encouragement, guidance and further
fellowship.
