Barnstaple Street Pastors were commissioned at Toko Nightclub Barnstaple on Sat 29th October 2009. Present were Rt Hon Nick Harvey MP, Councillor Jeremy Phillips, Mayor of Barnstaple, Sector Inspector Tom Holmes, Venerable David Gunn-Johnson Archdeacon of Barnstaple and pastors representing Churches Together in Barnstaple.
We've been patrolling every saturday night from 10pm to 4.00am since then and experienced some fun things, some scary things, some deeply moving things, but most of all we've known the amazing protection and love of the Lord Jesus to be with us every step of the way.
