Every Friday night Loughborough comes alive with hundreds of people looking for a great night out.  The music is loud and the drinks are cheap.  Town centre bars and pubs are bursting with energy as groups of people travel from bar to bar until the early hours of the morning.

For some, though, the evening will turn out to be less enjoyable. Alcohol, emotions and drugs can cause depression, anger or confusion.  In these situations, a shoulder to cry on is invaluable.

Street Pastors are there - as the name says - on the streets; a visible, recognisable and trusted presence.  Not preaching or condemning, but listening, caring and helping where they can.

Every Street Pastor is a member of the local community and a committed Christian. They have been through a thorough training programme to ensure that they are fully equipped to handle even the mosst difficult of situations. Street Pastors work closely with the local police and local government seeking ways to build relationships and serve the people of Loughborough together.
