Tower Hamlets Street Pastors was launched on 19th April 2010. Since then we have trained almost 30 team members and are on the streets every Friday night. We also have as many Prayer Pastors supporting us each week. The areas we patrol are Brick Lane, Shoreditch, Whitechapel, Mile End, Bow and Poplar.
The Tower Hamlets area is documented as one of the most deprived in the country but it is also one of the liveliest and most fascinating. Nightlife in all its forms is growing ever more varied as the world’s spotlight turns on us in advance of the 2012 Olympics. We value everybody’s goodwill, offers to help, donations and interest.
