Antigua/Barbuda’s Street Pastors Initiative was launched on Friday 3rd February 2006 at the Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition Centre, Perry Bay.
The auspicious occasion was attended by the Hon. Baldwin Spencer, Prime Minister and Minster of Ecclesiastical Affairs, Minister of Housing, Culture and Social Transformation, the Hon. Hilson Baptiste, Director of Ascension Trust, Rev. Les Isaac and numerous dignitaries.
The 35 Street Pastors patrol every Friday night in areas around the country.
